Girl Scout Troops

Now is a great time to bring Girl Scout troops to The Riding Academy at Select Show Horses to earn another coveted Girl Scout badge.  Your troop members will learn about the importance of horse care, grooming and tacking of the horses and various horse facts.  They will also have the opportunity to ride one of our horses while learning the basics of riding to earn their Horsemanship Triad badge.  We will provide all equipment necessary for the safety of the rider and horses.

Safety for the rider and horse is very important to us.  Each rider is required to wear jeans, closed-toed shoes and a helmet while riding.  We will provide helmets for those children who do not have their own riding helmet.

Girl Scout Troop visits are $100 for a 1½ hour private session.
