Camps

Your child will enjoy a great week when attending summer camp at The Riding Academy at Select Show Horses.  Our summer camps are fun-filled days of horseback riding and horse-related activities.  Children are taught how to groom and tack the horses properly and learn all the responsibilities of horse care.   Each day also includes horse-crazy crafts and fun games.  Your child will love their time at our camp.

Full-day camps are from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  Children are to provide their own lunch, but we will provide snacks and drinks.  The camp cost is $275 per week.   The 1/2-day camp is from 9:00 to Noon.  This camp cost is $150.

Safety for the rider and horse is very important to us.  Each rider is required to wear jeans, closed-toed shoes and a helmet while riding.  We will provide helmets for those children who do not have their own riding helmet.
